Fatima Kubra is a proud alumna of the Department of Translation & Interpretation whose journey reflects determination, academic excellence, and professional growth. After moving from Iran to Pakistan, she pursued her studies in Translation and Interpretation while gaining practical experience as a Drama Transcriber and Translator at Pakistan Television (PTV) Headquarters. Following her graduation, she worked with the Allama Iqbal Foundation, Iran, and later served as a Senior Translator at the Embassy of Iran on a contractual basis.
Her expertise and dedication also earned her a position as a Senior Instructor (BPS-17) at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad. A notable milestone in her career was being nominated by the Rector of NUML to participate in the Peace Talks between Iran and the United States held in Islamabad. Contributing to such a high-level international event at a young age highlights her professional competence and commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding. Her achievements continue to inspire current and future students to pursue excellence and embrace opportunities with confidence.
