The Department of French and Italian, NUML, jointly celebrated the “International Week of the Italian Language 2025” under the theme “Italophony: Language Beyond Borders.” On October 15, 2025 at NUML, Islamabad. Her Excellency Marilina Armellin, Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan, graced the event as Chief Guest. The French Department at NUML organized a "Christmas Party" on December 17, 2025. The Video Conference Room in the Rumi Block NUML was beautifully decorated with balloons and colorful lights. The event was attended by teachers and students from the French and Italian Departments, faculty members from the Faculty of Languages, and heads of various departments. Ms. Sonia, a lecturer in the French Department, hosted the program. The event commenced with the national anthem of Pakistan. The Department of French and the department of Italian at NUML organized a student's day titled "Journée des étudiants / Giornata degli Studenti" on 2nd October 2024. Students from both departments actively participated in the event that was held at the main cafeteria, first floor. The students presented French, Italian and Urdu songs.
